Prepare the Raspberry Puree
In a blender, combine the fresh raspberries and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. You can strain the mixture through a fine sieve if you prefer a smoother texture.

Make the Syrup
In a saucepan, combine the water and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Allow the syrup to cool.

Combine and Freeze
In a large bowl, mix the raspberry puree with the cooled sugar syrup. Stir until well combined. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Freeze
Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

Scoop the raspberry sorbet into bowls and enjoy!
