Coconut Tenders Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

In a bowl, mix buttermilk, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add chicken tenders and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Set Up Dredging Stations

In one bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the coconut flakes.

  3. 3

    Coat the Chicken

Remove each chicken tender from the marinade, letting excess liquid drip off. Dredge each tender in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with coconut flakes.

  4. 4

    Fry the Tenders

In a large frying pan, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken tenders in batches, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Drain and Serve

Once cooked, transfer the coconut tenders to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
