Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken tenders with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese. Dredge each chicken tender first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken tenders in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and place them on a paper towel-lined plate.
- 4
Assemble in the Pan
In a half or full pan, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Place the fried chicken tenders on top, then cover with more marinara sauce. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Chicken Tenders Parmigiana!
