Muddle the Sugar
In an old-fashioned glass, place the sugar cube and add the Angostura bitters. Muddle until the sugar is dissolved.

Add Ice
Fill the glass with ice cubes.

Pour the Bourbon
Pour the Maker's Mark Bourbon over the ice.

Add Club Soda
Top off the drink with club soda.

Garnish
Express the oil from the orange peel over the drink and drop it into the glass as a garnish.
