Produce
Optional Add-ins & Garnish
Method
Prep
Wash all produce thoroughly under cold running water. Pat dry with a clean towel or use a salad spinner for leafy greens.
Core the apple and cut into quarters. If you prefer a smoother juice, peel the apple; otherwise leave the skin for fiber and color.
Peel a small knob of ginger and measure approximately 1 teaspoon (about a 1/2-inch piece). Juice the lemon and set aside the juice.
If using a juicer
Assemble and Juice
Assemble the juicer according to manufacturer instructions and place a container beneath the spout.
Collect juice, then stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and a pinch of sea salt if using. Taste and add up to 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water to reach desired consistency.
Serve over ice if desired and garnish with mint.
If using a blender
Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add additional water 1–2 tablespoons at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Optional: For a smoother, pulp-free drink, pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a bowl, pressing firmly with a spatula or squeezing to extract as much liquid as possible.
Stir in a pinch of sea salt if using. Serve over ice and garnish with mint.
Storage & Serving
Best consumed immediately for maximum nutrient and flavor. If storing, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24–36 hours; shake/stir before drinking as separation will occur.
Serves chilled. Give the juice a quick taste before serving and adjust brightness with a little more lemon juice or a tiny pinch of salt if needed.
