Method
Acai Base
Prepare blender
Place a high-speed blender or food processor on the counter. If using acai packets that are very hard, let them sit at room temperature for 2β3 minutes to slightly thaw for easier blending.
Add base ingredients
Tear open 2 frozen acai puree packets into the blender. Add 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1/2 sliced ripe banana, and 1 cup unsweetened almond milk.
Sweeten and blend
Add 1 tablespoon honey or agave (adjust to taste). Blend on high until smooth and thick. Use short pulses if mixture is too thick; add up to 2 tablespoons more almond milk only as needed to reach a spoonable, soft-serve consistency (should be thick enough to hold toppings).
Check texture and chill
Scrape down sides and check texture. If itβs too thin, add a few ice cubes or a small handful of frozen strawberries and pulse again. If too thick to blend, add 1β2 teaspoons almond milk at a time. Once smooth and scoopable, stop blending.
Serve base
Spoon the acai mixture into a bowl, smoothing the surface to prepare for toppings.
Toppings
Arrange fresh fruit
Neatly arrange 1/2 cup fresh blueberries and 1/2 cup hulled, sliced fresh strawberries across the top of the acai base. Add 1/4 sliced banana for extra creaminess and visual contrast.
Serve immediately
Serve the mixed berry acai bowl immediately to preserve the cold, thick texture and the crunch of the granola. Provide a spoon and enjoy.
