Base liquids & fruit
Functional additions
Optional garnish & chill
Method
Prepare fruit base
Rinse the grapes under cold water and drain. Peel the dragon fruit and cut into roughly 1/2–1 inch chunks.
Place the grapes and dragon fruit in a blender.
Add 1/2 cup of the filtered water to the blender to help puréeing.
Blend on medium-high until smooth, about 30–45 seconds. If the mixture is too thick, add another 1/4 cup filtered water and pulse until smooth but still slightly pulpy.
Mix & balance
Pour the fruit purée into a 1‑liter (or 1‑quart) pitcher using a fine-mesh strainer if you want a clearer beverage; press solids with the back of a spoon to extract juice. Alternatively, skip straining for a more fiber-rich drink.
Add the remaining filtered water (to total 4 cups), the fresh lemon juice (2 tbs), and the pink Himalayan salt (1 tsp) to the pitcher. Stir thoroughly until the salt is completely dissolved.
Taste and adjust: if too tart, add a touch more water; if too weak, add a few extra grapes or 1–2 tsp of juice and reblend a small portion.
Add probiotics & chill
Once the mixture is at room temperature or slightly cool, add the probiotic powder or contents of the probiotic capsule. Stir gently but thoroughly to distribute the probiotics evenly. (Important: do not add probiotics to very hot liquid—keep below 40°C/104°F to preserve live cultures.)
Refrigerate the pitcher for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld and to fully chill. For best flavor, chill 1–2 hours.
Serve
Fill serving glasses with ice cubes (if using). Pour the chilled Grape Hydr8 over ice.
Garnish (optional)
Garnish each glass with a lemon slice or a small dragon fruit wedge and a couple of mint leaves.
Serve immediately. Shake or stir gently before pouring if the mixture has separated in the fridge.
