Prepare the Tamale Dough
In a large bowl, mix masa harina, vegetable broth, vegetable oil, salt, cumin, and chili powder until well combined. The dough should be soft and pliable.

Soak the Corn Husks
Soak corn husks in warm water for about 30 minutes until they are pliable.

Assemble the Tamales
Take a corn husk, spread about 2 tablespoons of the masa dough in the center, add a tablespoon of mixed vegetables, and fold the sides of the husk over the filling, then tie with a strip of husk.

Steam the Tamales
Place tamales upright in a steamer pot and steam for about 1 hour or until the masa is firm.

Serve the tamale alongside the cheese quesadilla, garnished with salsa or guacamole, if desired.
