Birria Burrito Ingredients
Method
Preparation Instructions
Prepare Birria
If you haven't done so already, cook the birria meat in a traditional style or use leftover birria. Shred the meat and set aside.
Warm the Tortillas
In a skillet over medium heat, warm the flour tortillas until soft and pliable, about 30 seconds per side.
Assemble the Burrito
On each tortilla, layer approximately 0.5 cups of birria, 0.25 cups of cooked rice, 0.25 cups of refried beans, and 0.25 cups of shredded cheese.
Roll the Burrito
Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and then roll it up from the bottom to enclose the filling completely.
Serve
Slice the burrito in half and serve with a side of consome de birria for dipping.
