Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the T-bone steaks with salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest.

  3. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add the diced tomatoes and sliced jalapeños and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

    Cook the Rice

In a saucepan, cook the rice according to package instructions. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Heat the Beans

In a small pot, heat the black beans over medium heat until warm. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

On a plate, serve the grilled T-bone steak topped with the sautéed onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños. Accompany with rice, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, and warm tortillas.
