Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Add the steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the steak is marinating, slice the green, red, and yellow bell peppers and onion. Dice the tomato and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, add a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced peppers and onion. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Slice the Steak

Once the steak has rested, slice it against the grain into thin strips.

  6. 6

    Serve

Warm the tortillas and serve the sliced steak with the sautéed vegetables. Enjoy with your favorite toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, or salsa.
