Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Vegetables
Chop the bell peppers, onion, and tomato into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped bell peppers and onion. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- 3
Season the Vegetables
Add garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are fully cooked and fragrant.
- 4
Assemble the Nachos
On a large baking sheet, spread a layer of tortilla chips. Evenly distribute the sautéed vegetable mixture over the chips. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top.
- 5
Bake the Nachos
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the nachos for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with sour cream and guacamole on the side.
