Marinate the Shrimp
In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the Rice
Cook the white rice according to package instructions. Fluff with a fork and keep warm.

Cook the Shrimp
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.

Serve
Plate the cooked shrimp over a bed of white rice. Serve with guacamole salad and a dollop of sour cream on the side. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
