Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cilantro Crema

In a bowl, mix together sour cream, chopped cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined and set aside.

  2. 2

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Texas hot links for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and slice into bite-sized pieces.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Refried Beans

In a saucepan, heat the refried beans over medium heat until warmed through. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Nachos

On a large serving platter, layer the corn tortilla chips. Spread the warmed refried beans evenly over the chips. Add the sliced Texas hot links and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

  5. 5

    Add Pickled Peppers

Scatter the pickled jalapeño peppers over the top of the nachos.

  6. 6

    Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled nachos under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the broiler and drizzle the cilantro crema over the nachos. Garnish with additional cilantro if desired and serve immediately.
