- 3
Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.

Cook Waffles
Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crisp. Remove and keep warm while you prepare the chicken.

Marinate Chicken
Place boneless chicken thighs in a bowl and cover with buttermilk. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the fridge for best results.
- 7
Prepare Coating
In a shallow dish, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- 8
Dredge Chicken
Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, and dredge in the seasoned flour mixture until well coated.
- 9
Fry Chicken
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated chicken thighs and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
