Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the boneless ribeye steak from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This ensures even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil evenly over the surface of the steak. Then, sprinkle the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper on both sides, ensuring it is well coated.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat for about 5-10 minutes until hot.

  4. 4

    Cook the Steak

Place the seasoned ribeye on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving it to develop a nice crust.

  5. 5

    Flip the Steak

Using tongs, flip the steak and add the fresh rosemary and butter to the pan or grill. Cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness, adjusting the cooking time to your preferred level of doneness.

  6. 6

    Baste the Steak

As the steak cooks on the second side, use a spoon to baste it with the melting butter and rosemary for added flavor.

  7. 7

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  8. 8

    Slice and Serve

Slice the ribeye against the grain and serve immediately, optionally garnished with additional rosemary or a sprinkle of salt.
