Steaming the Crab
To steam the Alaskan King Crab, fill a large pot with water and add salt. Bring the water to a boil.

Add the Crab
Once boiling, place the crab legs into a steamer basket and set it above the boiling water. Cover the pot with a lid and steam for 5-7 minutes or until heated through.

Chill Option
For chilled crab, simply place the crab legs in a bowl of ice water after steaming to stop the cooking process. Chill for about 10 minutes.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and simmer for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
