Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash all the berries thoroughly under cold water. Remove any stems or leaves from the strawberries and slice them into halves for easier blending.

  2. 2

    Blend the Ingredients

In a blender, combine the prepared strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Add the granulated sugar and lemon juice to the blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Create the Syrup

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water and remaining sugar (if any). Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved, then bring to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  2. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Once the syrup has cooled, pour it into the blender with the berry mixture. Blend once again until fully combined.

Freezing

  1. 5

    Transfer to Freezer Safe Container

Pour the sorbet mixture into a freezer-safe container. Cover it tightly with a lid or plastic wrap to prevent ice crystals from forming.

  2. 6

    Freeze the Sorbet

Place the container in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours, or until the sorbet is firm.

Serving

  1. 7

    Scoop and Serve

Once the sorbet is frozen solid, use an ice cream scoop to serve the sorbet into bowls or cones. Garnish with extra berries if desired and enjoy!
