Method

Frappuccino Base

1

Brew and cool coffee

Brew 1 cup of strong coffee (use a slightly stronger ratio than you would for drinking). Allow it to cool to at least room temperature; refrigerate briefly if needed until no longer hot.

2

Combine base ingredients

In a high-powered blender add the cooled brewed coffee, 1 cup milk, 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

3

Add ice and blend

Add 3 cups of ice to the blender. Secure the lid and blend on high until the mixture is smooth and slushy, about 30–60 seconds depending on blender power. If mixture is too thin, add additional ice 1/2 cup at a time and re-blend. If too thick, add a splash (1–2 tbsp) of milk or coffee.

Optional Espresso Boost (for stronger coffee flavor)

4

If you want extra coffee intensity, add 1 shot of cooled espresso (or 2–3 tablespoons concentrated brewed coffee) to the blender before or after blending and pulse briefly to incorporate. Taste and adjust sweetness if adding espresso (you may want an extra 1/2 tsp sugar).

Garnish / Finish

5

Pour the blended Frappuccino into a tall glass. Top with whipped cream to taste and drizzle with about 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup or caramel. Serve immediately with a straw.
