Method
Brewing the Tea
- 1
Prepare the Water
In a kettle, bring 4 cups of fresh, cold water to a rolling boil over high heat.
- 2
Add Tea
Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from heat and add 2 tablespoons of loose leaf tea or 2 tea bags. If using loose leaf tea, consider using a tea infuser for easier removal.
- 3
Steep
Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor.
- 4
Remove Tea
After steeping, remove the tea bags or strain the loose tea from the kettle.
Serving the Tea
- 5
Add Enhancements
If desired, sweeten your tea with honey or sugar, and add lemon slices or fresh mint leaves for added flavor.
- 6
Serve Hot
Pour the freshly brewed tea into cups and serve hot. Enjoy your delightful beverage!
