Pasta Preparation

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta chitarra and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Seafood
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and scallops. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are just cooked through. Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in the marinara sauce, Calabrian chili paste, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

Serve the seafood fra diavolo hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
