Method

Prepare Limeade

  1. 1

    Juice the Limes

Cut the fresh limes in half and use a juicer to extract the juice into a measuring cup. You should have about 1 cup of fresh lime juice.

  2. 2

    Make the Sour Mix

In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  3. 3

Combine Lime Juice and Sour Mix

In a large pitcher, mix the fresh lime juice with the cooled sour mix. Add 3 cups of cold water to dilute the mixture to your desired tartness.

  4. 4

    Infuse with Rosemary

Add 2 rosemary sprigs to the limeade mixture. Allow it to steep for at least 30 minutes to infuse the flavor.

Serve the Limeade

  1. 5

    Strain and Serve

After the rosemary has steeped, strain the limeade to remove the rosemary sprigs. Pour the limeade into glasses filled with ice.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Garnish each glass with a few fresh rosemary leaves and a slice of lime for a refreshing touch.
