Prepare Cardamom
Gently crush the cardamom pods using a mortar and pestle to release their essential oils.

Mix the Base Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the Same Old Moses Amarone, honey, and black currant syrup. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.

Combine and Shake
Add the cardamom pods to the mixing glass with the base ingredients. Fill the glass with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass, leaving the crushed cardamom pods behind.

Add the Spritz
Top the drink with sparkling water to add a refreshing spritz, and stir gently to combine.
