Method

Vodka Preparation

  1. 1

    Melt Coconut Oil

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup of coconut oil until it becomes liquid.

  2. 2

    Combine Vodka and Coconut Oil

In a mixing container, combine the melted coconut oil with 2 cups of vodka. Stir well to ensure the oil is evenly distributed.

  3. 3

    Infuse

Seal the container and let the mixture sit at room temperature for 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld.

  4. 4

    Strain

After 24 hours, place a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter over a bowl and pour the mixture through to separate the vodka from the solidified coconut oil.

Espresso Martini Mix

  1. 5

    Prepare Espresso

Brew 1 cup of fresh espresso using your preferred method (espresso machine, Aeropress, etc.). Allow it to cool slightly.

  2. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the strained coconut fat-washed vodka (approximately 2 cups), 1 oz of Prairie Wolf coffee liqueur, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 1 cup of ice cubes.

  3. 7

    Shake

Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

  4. 8

    Strain into Glass

Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish

  1. 9

    Garnish

Place 3 coffee beans on the surface of the cocktail for garnish.
