Make Black Currant Tea Syrup
Brew black currant tea according to package instructions, using 1 cup of water and 2 tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and add 1 cup of sugar. Stir until dissolved and cool.

Prepare the Glass
Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water while you prepare the drink.
Mixing the Drink

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of 400 Conejos Mezcal, 0.5 oz of black currant tea syrup, and 2 dashes of house bitters.

Shake
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain
Empty the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
