Bread Pudding

Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the cubed stale bread in a large bowl.

Combine
Pour the wet mixture over the cubed bread. Stir gently until all bread pieces are soaked. Allow resting for 15 minutes.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
Boozy Sauce

Make the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the Texas whiskey, brown sugar, and butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved.

Slowly whisk in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Spoon portions of the warm bread pudding onto plates. Drizzle the boozy sauce generously over the top.
