Stuffed Marble Potato Ingredients
Method
Stuffed Marble Potato Directions
- 1
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash the marble potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
- 2
- 3
Preheat the Oven
While the potatoes are cooling, preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- 4
Prepare the Filling
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic cloves and sauté until golden brown. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 5
Mix the Filling
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon (chopped into small pieces), sautéed garlic, and finely chopped green onions. Season with black pepper and mix well.
- 6
Stuff the Potatoes
Once the potatoes are cool enough to handle, cut a slit lengthwise in each potato. Carefully scoop out some of the flesh using a small spoon, being careful not to break the skin. Add the scooped-out potato flesh to the cheese mixture and mix well. Spoon the filling back into each potato.
- 7
Bake the Stuffed Potatoes
Place the stuffed potatoes on a baking sheet. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden and the potatoes are heated through.
