Method

APPETIZERS

  1. 1

    Cheese preparation

Remove the three cheeses from the refrigerator 30 minutes before serving to allow them to soften slightly. Slice Cheddar into thick 1/4 inch wedges, Brie into 6-8 wedges, Manchego into 8-10 triangular slices.

  2. 2

    Fruit and nut prep

Rinse grapes and pat dry; arrange in small clusters. Rough-chop toasted almonds or leave whole for guests to grab.

  3. 3

    Charcuterie arrangement

Fan or roll Prosciutto di Parma and Soppressata onto the board to create curves and mounds for visual appeal.

  4. 4

    Condiments and pairings

Place fig jam in a small bowl and drizzle honey in a tiny pitcher or over a dollop of jam. Position grapes nearby for easy pairing.

  5. 5

    Crackers and bread setup

Arrange assorted crackers in a scattered arc and place baguette slices in a separate bowl or along the edge; provide tongs or small knives.

  6. 6

    Final assembly

Position cheeses as anchors on the board, then fill spaces with charcuterie, fruit, nuts, and condiments. Leave space for guests to access everything.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve at room temperature with cheese knives, tongs for meats, and small spoons for jam and honey. Garnish with fresh herbs if available.
