Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Cut and Soak Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick). Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 2

    Heat Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 3

    Fry Potatoes

Drain and dry the soaked potato strips thoroughly with paper towels. Fry the potatoes in batches for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika while hot.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 4

    Cook the Wagyu Steak

Season the American Wagyu steak with salt and pepper. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.

  2. 5

    Sauté Vegetables

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add diced onions, mushrooms, and sweet bell peppers. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

  3. 6

    Melt the Cheese

In a small saucepan, gently heat the white American cheese until melted. Stir occasionally to ensure it doesn't burn.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

On a large plate or serving platter, layer the crispy fries. Top with the sliced Wagyu steak, sautéed vegetables, and drizzle the melted white American cheese over the top.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy your delicious Wagyu Fries!
