Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Turkey
If not already done, slow-roast your turkey breast until fully cooked, about 4 hours at 325°F (165°C). Allow to cool slightly, then hand-pull into pieces.
- 2
Make the Stuffing
Prepare your homemade stuffing according to your favorite recipe, or use pre-made stuffing. Ensure it’s moist and flavorful.
- 3
Prepare the Cranberry Sauce
If using homemade cranberry sauce, prepare it in advance. If using store-bought, ensure it’s ready to use.
Assembling the Sandwich
- 4
Slice the Rolls
Take the submarine sandwich rolls and slice them lengthwise without cutting all the way through, creating a hinge.
- 5
Layer the Ingredients
Start by spreading the mayonnaise evenly on the inside of both halves of the rolls.
- 6
Add Turkey
Layer the pulled turkey evenly on the bottom half of each roll.
- 7
Add Stuffing and Cranberry Sauce
Top the turkey with a generous scoop of homemade stuffing, followed by a layer of cranberry sauce.
- 8
Close the Sandwich
Fold the top half of the roll over the fillings and gently press down to compact the sandwich. Optionally, garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
