Preparation of Ingredients
- 1
Cook the Wagyu Beef
Season the American Wagyu Prime Grade Beef with salt and pepper. In a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C), roast the beef for about 1 hour until it reaches a medium-rare temperature (135°F or 57°C). Remove from oven and let rest.
- 2
Prepare the Turkey
If not using pre-cooked turkey, slowly roast turkey breast and pull apart into pieces. This can be done a day in advance.
- 3
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the hickory-smoked bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- 4
Slice the Vegetables
Slice the tomato and onion thinly. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.
Assembling the Sandwich
- 5
Layer the Ingredients
On the first slice of club bread, spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Add a layer of lettuce leaves, followed by the sliced tomato and onion.
- 6
Add the Meats
Place the hand-pulled turkey on top of the vegetables, followed by the cooked Wagyu beef slices. Top with two slices of provolone cheese and the crispy bacon.
- 7
Finish the Sandwich
Spread another tablespoon of mayonnaise on the second slice of club bread and place it on top of the bacon. Repeat the layering process with remaining ingredients, finishing with the third slice of bread.
- 8
Serve
Slice the sandwich in half, securing with toothpicks if necessary, and serve immediately.
