Instructions to Make Almond Butter
- 1
Roasting the Almonds
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the raw almonds evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes until they are lightly golden and fragrant.
- 2
Cooling the Almonds
Remove the almonds from the oven and let them cool for about 10 minutes.
- 3
Blending the Almonds
Transfer the cooled almonds to a food processor. Blend on high for about 5-10 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until the almonds turn into a smooth butter.
- 4
Adding Flavorings
Once the almond butter is smooth, add salt, and if desired, honey or maple syrup for sweetness. If you prefer a creamier texture, add a tablespoon of oil. Blend again until well combined.
- 5
Storing the Almond Butter
Transfer the almond butter to an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Stir well before using.
