Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, green onions, garlic, ginger, chopped peanuts, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Assemble the Potstickers
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wrapper over to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges to seal tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- 3
Cook the Potstickers
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Place the potstickers in the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown.
- 4
Steam the Potstickers
Add about 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover immediately. Allow the potstickers to steam for about 5-6 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the wrappers are tender.
- 5
Serve
Remove the potstickers from the skillet and serve hot with the oriental dipping sauce.
