Method
Chips
- 1
Prepare the Tortillas
Stack the corn tortillas and cut them into triangle shapes.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 3
Fry the Chips
Carefully add the tortilla triangles to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until they are golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Drain and Season
Remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt while still hot.

Add salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- 8
Let it Rest
Allow the salsa to sit for at least 15 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld together.
