Cocktail
Prepare glass
Fill a highball or hurricane glass with ice to chill while you build the cocktail.
Add 1.5 oz white rum, 0.5 oz vodka, 0.75 oz blue curaçao, 3 oz pineapple juice, and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice into a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. If you prefer a slightly sweeter drink, add 0.25 oz simple syrup.
Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the shaker is cold to the touch and the ingredients are well combined and slightly diluted.
Discard the ice from the chilled serving glass (if desired) and fill the glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken mixture into the glass over the ice.
Give the drink a gentle stir (1–2 revolutions) to integrate any separated layers without losing the vibrant color.
Garnish & Serve
Thread a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry onto a cocktail pick and rest it on the rim of the glass, or float them on top. Add a lime wheel to the rim or slide it onto the glass.
Serve immediately with a straw. Optionally provide a small napkin or coaster.
