In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, ground pork, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Assemble Wontons

Fill Wontons
Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, and press to seal. Then bring the two corners together to form a wonton shape, sealing with a little water if needed. Repeat until all filling is used.

Cook Broth
In a large pot, heat the chicken or pork broth over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, sliced ginger, soy sauce, chopped green onions, and salt. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Cook Wontons

Boil Wontons
Carefully add the prepared wontons to the simmering broth. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the wontons float to the surface and are cooked through.
