Wonton Wrappers Preparation

Make the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water while mixing until a dough forms.

Knead the Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Roll out the Dough
After resting, divide the dough into four pieces. Roll each piece into a thin sheet and cut into 3-inch squares.

Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix the ground pork, chopped shrimp, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Assemble and Fry

Fill the Wontons
Take a square wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper over to form a triangle. Press to seal.

Heat the Oil
In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.

Fry the Wontons
Carefully add the wontons to the hot oil in batches, frying them until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve
Serve the crispy pork and shrimp wontons hot with dipping sauce of your choice.
