Prepare the Couscous

In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt to the boiling water.

Once the water is boiling, add 1 cup of couscous and 1 tbs of olive oil. Stir quickly to combine.

Remove the saucepan from heat, cover it, and let the couscous sit for about 5 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.

Add Harissa and Spices
Mix in 2 tbs of harissa paste, 1 tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of paprika, and 1 tsp of black pepper. Stir well to ensure even distribution.
Add Vegetables and Serve

Add 1 cup of chickpeas, 1 diced red bell pepper, and 2 sliced green onions to the couscous mixture. Mix thoroughly.
