Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Champagne

Place the bottle of champagne in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is well chilled.

  2. 2

    Prepare Orange Juice

Juice fresh oranges to yield about 2 cups of juice, or use high-quality store-bought orange juice if preferred.

Mixing Your Mimosa

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher or individual glasses, pour 1 part orange juice to 2 parts champagne. For example, for every 1 cup of orange juice, use 2 cups of champagne.

  2. 4

    Garnish

Add orange slices, fresh berries, or mint leaves on top of the mimosa for garnish and additional flavor.

  3. 5

    Add Grenadine (Optional)

If desired, drizzle a tablespoon of grenadine into each glass for a touch of sweetness and color.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Immediately

Serve the mimosas immediately after mixing to retain the bubbles from the champagne. Enjoy!
