Preparation

Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Toss until the wings are evenly coated with the seasoning.

Slow Cook the Wings
Place the seasoned wings in a slow cooker and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours until tender.
Frying

Prepare for Frying
After slow cooking, remove the wings from the slow cooker and let them cool slightly. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Heat the Oil
In a deep pot or fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Wings
Carefully add the wings to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the wings to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with the chosen sauce until evenly coated. If using dry rub, sprinkle it over the wings and toss to coat.
