Preparation

   Chill the Glass

   Begin by chilling your glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the cocktail.

   Combine Ingredients

   In a mixing glass, combine 1 oz of gin, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 1 oz of Campari.

   Add Ice

   Fill the mixing glass with ice, enough to cool the mixture thoroughly.

   Stir

   Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 20-30 seconds until well chilled.

   Prepare the Glass

   Empty the ice water from your chilled glass and strain the cocktail into the glass using a strainer.

   Garnish

   Express the oils from a piece of orange peel over the drink by holding it over the glass and giving it a gentle twist. Drop the peel into the glass as a garnish.
