Method

For the Grilled Octopus

  1. 1

    Prepare the Octopus

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the octopus and boil for about 30-40 minutes until tender. Remove from water and let cool.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Octopus

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Once the octopus has cooled, cut it into manageable pieces and add it to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, ideally overnight in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Grill the Octopus

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the octopus from the marinade and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side until charred and crispy. Remove from the grill and chop into smaller pieces. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

For the Sautéed Broccoli Rabe

  1. 4

    Prepare the Broccoli Rabe

Wash the broccoli rabe thoroughly and trim off any tough stems.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Broccoli Rabe

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the broccoli rabe and red pepper flakes, tossing to coat. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Season with salt to taste.
