Prepare Garlic Butter

Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Be careful not to let it brown.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the Bread
Using a serrated knife, slice the baguette or Italian bread in half lengthwise. You can also slice it into smaller pieces if you prefer individual servings.

Bake the Garlic Bread
Place the buttered bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.

Optional Broil for Extra Crispiness
For an extra crispy top, switch the oven to broil and broil the bread for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
