Preparing the Chicken

Season the Chicken
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

Set Up Breading Station
Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.

Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken breast first in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Cooking the Chicken

Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Fry the Chicken
Add the breaded chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Drain Excess Oil
Remove the chicken from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Assembling the Dish

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Add Sauce and Cheese
Place the fried chicken in a baking dish, top each piece with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, and serve hot.
