Bloody Mary Cocktail
House Bloody Mary Mix (makes ~32 oz)
Method
House Bloody Mary Mix
- 1
Combine mix ingredients
In a large pitcher, add 32 oz tomato juice, 2 oz fresh lemon juice, 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons hot sauce, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon celery salt, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar.
- 2
Whisk vigorously until the horseradish and spices are fully dispersed and the sugar is dissolved. Taste and adjust seasoning — add more hot sauce, Worcestershire, or celery salt to reach desired heat and saltiness.
- 3
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) to let flavors meld. Keeps in refrigerator up to 5 days in an airtight container.
Cocktail Assembly
- 4
Prepare glass rim (optional)
If rimming the glass, rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a highball or pint glass, then dip rim into a small plate with kosher salt or celery salt to coat. Set glass aside.
- 5
Fill glass with ice
Fill the prepared glass with 1 cup of ice to chill and provide volume for the drink.
- 6
Build the cocktail
Into the ice-filled glass, pour 2 oz vodka, 4 oz house Bloody Mary mix, and 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice. Add 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons hot sauce and 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish if you want extra punch (these are already included in the mix; add only if you want to increase intensity).
- 7
Season
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon celery salt and 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper over the top. Stir gently with a bar spoon for 10–15 seconds to combine and chill the drink without over-diluting.
