Bebidas - Bottled Sodas (rotating selection)

Method

Bebidas - Bottled Sodas (rotating selection)

  1. 1

    Chill and prepare

Ensure bottled sodas are chilled to 2–6°C (35–43°F). Store bottles upright in a cooler or refrigerator. Prepare ice (8 cups) and chill glassware or disposable cups if desired.

  2. 2

    Present choices

Arrange the rotating selection of bottled sodas (6 units) on a tray or in the cooler so guests can see labels. Indicate flavors available (cola, lemon-lime, ginger ale, root beer, orange, etc.).

  3. 3

    Pouring a soda

Take one chilled bottle and open carefully. If serving over ice, fill a glass with 1–1.5 cups of ice (depending on glass size). Pour the soda slowly down the side of the glass to reduce foaming, filling to about ¾–1 inch from the rim.

  4. 4

    Optional customization

For guests who want a sweeter drink, add up to 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of simple syrup to the glass and stir gently. Offer a lemon or lime wedge (1 wedge per drink) to be squeezed into the soda for a citrus note. For a fresh aromatic garnish, add a mint sprig.

  5. 5

    Service

Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer if desired. Replace bottles in the cooler to keep remaining stock chilled. Replenish ice as needed to maintain temperature.

  6. 6

    Waste and recycling

Collect empty bottles for recycling. Keep a small bin near the service area to encourage proper disposal.
