For the Ranch Sauce
Method
Preparing the Chicken Tenders
- 1
Cut the Chicken
Slice the chicken breast into strips about 1 inch wide to create tenders.
- 2
Prepare the Breading Stations
Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour mixed with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; one with beaten eggs; and one with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken strip first in the flour mixture, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat cooking oil over medium heat until hot, about 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken Tenders
Fry the breaded chicken strips in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Making the Ranch Sauce
- 6
Mix the Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and milk.
- 7
Whisk Together
Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
- 8
Chill the Sauce
Cover the ranch sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
