Main Ingredients

Marinade

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Salmon

1

Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Prepare the Asparagus

While the salmon is marinating, rinse the asparagus under cold water. Trim the tough ends off and set aside.

Grilling

3

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F).

4

Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

5

Grill the Asparagus

Place the asparagus on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until tender and slightly charred.

Lemon Butter Sauce

6

Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through.

Serving

7

Plate the Dish

Once both the salmon and asparagus are cooked, place the salmon fillets on a plate with the grilled asparagus on the side. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and garnish with more parsley if desired.
