Cheese Curds

Ranch Dressing or Sriracha Aioli

Method

Cheese Curds Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading Station

Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, one with beaten eggs, and the last with panko breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

    Bread the Cheese Curds

Coat each cheese curd first in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

  3. 3

    Fry the Cheese Curds

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Fry the breaded cheese curds in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Dipping Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Ranch Dressing

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, and ranch seasoning mix until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  2. 5

    Make the Sriracha Aioli

In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and adjust spiciness to taste.
