For Assembly

Method

Prepare the Bulgogi Beef

  1. 1

    Marinate the Beef

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped green onions, and black pepper. Add the thinly sliced ribeye to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in batches, cooking for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables

  1. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

Make the Spicy Sriracha Aioli

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lemon juice until smooth and well combined. Adjust the spice level by adding more sriracha if desired.

Assemble the Sandwich

  1. 5

    Layer the Ingredients

Slice the French rolls in half. On the bottom half of each roll, layer the cooked bulgogi beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and top with sliced provolone cheese.

  2. 6

    Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled sandwiches under a broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  3. 7

    Add Aioli

Spread a generous amount of spicy sriracha aioli on the top half of the French rolls and close the sandwiches.

  4. 8

    Serve

Serve the Bulgogi Philly sandwiches warm. Enjoy!
